About Us

“Us” is just me, Casey, at the moment. I’ve been In the pastry biz in some form or another for many years now. Copperpot is a bakery I started to produce from scratch, handmade baked goods in Seattle. It started off providing wholesale goods to businesses. Now we’re offering home deliveries as well!


Personally, I’ve always been interested in regional specialties from around the world, and adapting them to have more of a local make up. It’s great fun discovering the history of food for a region, then making them yourself! I’m always looking for new things to add to the menu.

Our Values

Sustainability is something we think a lot about. We really look at where our ingredients come from to make the best choices. Sometimes it’s not always clear cut. For example, Shepherd’s Grain flours are not organic, but their no till method of planting is a great choice for sustainable farming.

We also look for ways to improve our operation like staying away from single use plastics. Pastry should not have a long shelf life anyway.

Fun fact! If you keep a sourdough starter, it’s made up primarily of the yeast from where ever your flour comes from. Want local yeast? Buy local flour!
